OUR POSITION

The company operates an adults-only service, with an age gate that declines anyone under eighteen at signup, and prohibits any child sexual abuse or exploitation material or conduct anywhere on its products. On Fyzygy Take, where people upload media, this standard governs what may be uploaded and what the company does with what is uploaded.

FYZYGY TAKE ACCEPTS UPLOADS

Fyzygy Take is a product on which a person uploads media. Because a user can upload media, the company checks that media before it is published, as set out below.

CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE AND EXPLOITATION IS PROHIBITED

Child sexual abuse and exploitation material, and any content or conduct that sexualises, exploits or endangers a child, are prohibited on Fyzygy Take in all forms. An account involved will be closed, and the matter handled as set out below and as the law requires.

HOW UPLOADED MEDIA IS CHECKED

Uploaded media is checked against a child-protection provider before it is published. A photo is checked as an image, and a video is checked whole, in the same way. The check happens first, and nothing is published until it completes. If the check cannot be completed, for example because of an error or a timeout, the media is not published. The company does not publish media that has not passed the check.

A MATCH IS PRESERVED, NOT DELETED

Where the check identifies child sexual abuse material, the media is not published, is removed from any view, and is preserved as evidence for legal process rather than deleted, because a report of such material carries a legal obligation to preserve it. The company reports the matter to the appropriate authorities and cooperates with law enforcement. Records of such matters, including the preserved media, are kept even after an account is deleted, as the law requires.

PRESERVATION HOLDS

Where the check identifies a match, a hold is placed automatically on the uploader's account. An upload kept for human review holds the account until the review is decided. An account under a hold is not erased, even if the person asks to delete it, until the hold ends. Once a report has been filed with the authorities, the hold is kept for as long as the law and the preservation obligation require.

REPORTING

A user can report content in the app. A report about child safety is treated as urgent. A person may also raise a child-safety concern by writing to the Grievance Officer at grievance@fyzygy.com, marked urgent. That address reaches us.

HANDLING OF A REPORT

Where reported material is child sexual abuse or exploitation material, the company removes it from view immediately, preserves only what is required as evidence for legal process, reports it to the appropriate authorities, and cooperates with law enforcement. Records are kept even after an account is deleted.

MINIMUM AGE

Fyzygy Take is for adults aged eighteen and over.
